Foreign sticker price

    How this is calculated

Selling abroad means FX conversion and payment fees eat into your home-currency margin. Enter your home price, the FX rate and your target margin to get the foreign sticker price that still nets you the same USD.

    1. Foreign sticker = home x FX / (1 - fee%) x (1 + margin%)
    2. Net USD = foreign x (1 - fee%) / FX

What to make of the number

Round the foreign price to a clean .99 ending after converting; FX drift can erase thin margins.
